I think I just realized how much I've come to rely on ao3. Not to say that ao3 isn't awesome, because it definitely is. But I used to hunt through livejournal, dreamwidth, and random aarchive sites in search of awesome fic. It was difficult, but so much like a treasure hunt. At the time, I wasn't a writer myself, so I never thought to post something like that on this site when I got back into it due to ConFab. But I do actually have fic now! It's my humble, sometimes silly and sometimes weirdly serious, contribution to fandom. So like so many before me, I'm gonna put it out there and people will make whatever they want to out of it (metaphorically). As it should be!
